Cathal and his committee wishes a very happy new year to all our members and friends. Our weekly pairs game will recommence on Monday 9th January at 19:30 in Wicklow Golf Club. Please ensure you are seated by 19:20 to allow the TD time to set up the tournament.

| Sad news |
 Helen Gorman, our friend and fellow member of Abbey Bridge Club, died on Friday 18th November. Helen passed away peacefully in Blackrock Clinic following a brief illness. Helen fought bravely against the symptons of Parkinsons for many years but always remained cheerful and positive in her attitude. She loved her game of bridge and never lost her enthusiasm for life and for meeting people. Sincere sympathy goes to Helen's husband Tom, and to her children Elaine, Brian, David and John, grandchildren, siblings and wider family. May she rest in peace. Funeral arrangement are on RIP.ie.

| AGM |
Cathal Louth was elected president for the 2022/2023 bridge season at the AGM held in Septemer. We all wish Cathal well and hope he enjoys his year as president.
