This club is designed for newer players, advancing players or rusty players returning to duplicate bridge wishing to sharpen their skills; and to ensure that all players enjoy themselves and continue to play on a regular basis. Partnership assistance is provided. Lessons will be scheduled soon.
The main difference of this bridge club from the other bridge clubs is the level of experience of the players and the length of the game (We usually play between 14 and 16 boards, no more than 20 or 21). During the game, players are encouraged to ask questions and receive coaching on bidding, play, defense, or any other aspect of the game.
Visitors are always welcome but must obtain a Sun City Summerlin Guest Pass. Contact Shelly at firstname.lastname@example.org
Public health authorities are still calling for people to limit their social interactions to stop the spread of the virus. Please stay safe and healthy and hopefully we will see you relatively soon. Until then, our club has gone virtual on Wednesdays and Saturdays at noon!!! We play on RSVPBRIDGE.com and communicate by voice and video via Discord ... use this link to get connected: https://discord.gg/eFEnK7S. During the game, players are encouraged to ask questions.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year's Club and Organizations elections will be facilitated by the Association.
Clubs are advised not to e-mail their membership soliciting self-nominations. The association is requesting self-nominations per e-blast and the association will inform clubs of the self-nominations received. The e-blast for the SCS Social Duplicate Bridge Supervised will go out on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 and the self-nomination period deadline for your club will be Friday, November 13, 2020.
