Ed Scerri has been an ever-present member of the Berks & Bucks county team since moving to Amersham 15 years ago, and in that time has won all the major county events several times, as well as acting as a county referee and selector.

On a National level, Ed is a successful tournament player. He is a Premier Grand Master who has won the Tollemache Cup (twice), The Garden Cities Trophy, The National Swiss teams, The N.I.C.K.O. and The Four-Star Teams at the Brighton Summer Congress. He has also won the Daily Telegraph Salver (awarded to the leading Master-Point winner in the Country) on two occasions and is currently a member of the EBU Disciplinary Panel.

Ed has written a series of instructive articles for the EBU magazine and has given seminars to many bridge clubs in the South-East of England. His relaxed and informal style of teaching is aimed at helping club players to improve, by explaining the way an expert will think in certain situations, improving performance and results by assisting club players to think in the same way.
