There is an opportunity for an additional Director to cover up to 20 matches a year, and anyone interested should contact a committee member.

| New Members and Visitors |
We happy to encourage applications for new members. Individuals are normally invited to join the Club initially on a trial basis for 3 months before membership is confirmed. Although we are essentially a membership club, visitors are welcome. Usually a visitor will have been invited to play by a member but exceptionally non-members may play together provided there is sufficient room within our maximum of 24 tables. Non members wishing to play together at The Wyvern should contact Lynda Thorne or other member of the Committee beforehand (click here) and approach the Director for the evening before sitting at a table. Visitors should note that with regard to bidding conventions, Wyvern is an EBU level 2 Club. For details see "Playing Guidelines" under Information on this website.

| THE HISTORY OF THE WYVERN BRIDGE CLUB |
The Club was started in 1985 by Simon Ainger, owner of the prestigious Heath Club in Weybridge, who felt there was a need for a less stressful club. We moved to the Hersham Centre in 1990. Click here for more about the Club.
