Sessions :-
Duplimated boards are used at all sessions
These pairs sessions are all hosted ie you can come without a partner and be assured of a game.You are expected to host occasionally if you live locally.
Please be in your seats 10 minutes before the start time.
Monday 2.00pm and 7.30pm both level 4
Wednesday 2.00pm and 7.30pm both level 4
Thursday 7.30pm level 2
2nd Thursday teams 7.30pm level 4

These are published on the hall notice board and on the Club’s web site.
Governance :-
The Club is affiliated to the English Bridge Union (EBU) and is governed according to its rules and regulations. The Club is fully committed to the Best Behaviour in Bridge code of practice.
Refreshments :-
Tea, coffee and biscuits are available at all sessions from the downstairs kitchen on a self service basis. Tea and coffee are free to members. An honesty box is provided for the biscuits.
There are also drinks from a licensed bar.
Newsletter :-
Distributed every 2 month by e-mail . Paper copies are available at the Club.
Smoking :-
This is a no smoking club. If you must smoke then do so away from the external doors.
Practice Classes :-
A club room is hired by Rosemary Chuchill 07970194320 & David Hughes on Tuesdays at 1.30pm & 7pm respectively so that you can practise what you've learnt.
Rosemary also holds targeted theory classes at 10am on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

is dedicated to teaching bridge and which takes place in Worthing Bridge Club.

Special events :-
During the year we hold one-off competitions for some of the Club’s trophies, heats of Sussex County Contract Bridge Association competitions and simultaneous pairs events organised by BGB, EBU, ECATS and SCCBA. The dates are posted on the main notice board and if you wish to play in any of these events you sign up on the sheets which will be posted.

Palmer cup is won by the player with less than 5000 Master Points

The trophies are awarded to the individual members with the best results over the period 1st January to 31st December.
On Monday and Thursday evenings we combine two competitions into one event. Please let the Webmaster know if you qualify for the Winnie Goff Cup or the Palmer Cup.
