There is a once off Joining Fee of £15.
All new members are subject to a probationary period.
Annual Subscription Fee :-
IF paid before 1st February £15
IF paid after 31st January £20
Table money :- normally £2.00 (visitors £3.00)
Sessions :-
Duplimated boards are used at all sessions.
Pairs sessions are all hosted, ie you can come without a partner and be assured of a game.
(Except Simultaneous Pairs Events).
You are expected to host occasionally if you live locally.
Please be in your seats 15 minutes before the start time. (Please phone the club if you are delayed and on your way to the club).

These are published on the club notice boards, Bridgewebs & Pianola Websites.
Governance :-
The Club is affiliated to the English Bridge Union (EBU) and is governed according to its rules and regulations. The Club is fully committed to the Best Behaviour in Bridge code of practice.
Refreshments :-
Tea, coffee and biscuits are available at all sessions from the downstairs kitchen on a self service basis. Tea and coffee are free to members.
There are also drinks from a licensed bar.
Newsletter :-
Distributed every 2 month by e-mail . Paper copies are available at the Club.
Smoking :-
This is a no smoking club. If you must smoke then do so away from the external doors.
Practice Classes :-
A club room is hired by Rosemary Chuchill 07970194320 & David Hughes on Tuesdays at 1.30pm & 7pm respectively so that you can practise what you've learnt.
Colin Smith, holds targeted theory classes at 10am on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Special events :-
During the year we hold one-off competitions for some of the Club’s trophies, heats of Sussex County Contract Bridge Association competitions and simultaneous pairs events organised by BGB, EBU, and SCCBA. The dates are posted on the main notice board and if you wish to play in any of these events you sign up on the sheets which will be posted.

This cup is won by the player with less than 10,000 master points

Thursday evening Ricardo Cup & Palmer Cup Level 2 - pairs
Palmer cup is won by the player with less than 5000 Master Points

3rd Thursday The President's Cup - teams (For the less experianced)

On Monday and Thursday evenings we combine two competitions into one event. Please let the Webmaster know if you qualify for the Winnie Goff Cup or the Palmer Cup.
The trophies are awarded to the individual members with the best results over the period 1st January to 31st December.
The Spring Festival :-
This is a full weekend of bridge for members of the Club. See the notice board in April for details.
