I am back on my hobby horse again re the slowness of some players. This last week was particularly bad with ten tables and three boards per table - the e/w players actually missed out on nine boards, so this does not reflect true results of the evenings play. I suggest you bring back the time clock again to make players aware of the time they are allowed. I seem to be the only one who complains in writing but there are others who find these long delays most irritating. Its really up to the director to point this out at the beginning of the evening so that players are aware of the rules regarding the time allowed. |

This is to remind everyone that there is a CHARITY PAIRS EVENT at Cranfield Bridge Club (in Astwood Village Hall) on Sunday 14th October, in aid of the Bedfordshire Alzheimer's Society.
