Bridge players, and potential bridge players, are given many opportunities to learn and improve. The Monday bridge group is a friendly improvers session with a non playing Director available to 'stand in' if necessary. A short reminder is given at the start of the session and usually 18 boards are played. Tuesday night at Kendal is learners and improvers night with beginner and improver groups held in the Abbot Hall. Wednesday night at Windermere is for 'club' players to further develop and practise their skills. Friday night at Windermere is a popular competitive evening that offers an excellent opportunity for members to move their bridge on to the next stage in a friendly environment.
