This course is suitable for anyone who has completed at least one year of lessons, or who is returning to bridge after a break.  It is also suitable for anyone who would like to improve their defensive techniques.
Each lesson will have 45-50 minutes of lesson time followed by play hands on the topic.

Topics include:
No trump leads (choosing the suit, choosing the card, signal on the opening lead)
Third hand plays (third hand pays high?, when to return partner's lead, rule of 11)
Opening leader's next play (when to continue your suit, suit preference signals, ducking, when to switch)
Second hand plays (second hand plays low, cover an honour)
Discarding (first discard, keeping the right cards)
