Charity Event - All Welcome

On Sunday 25th March 2pm-5.30pm Elisabeth, Frances & Emily Bingham are holding an afternoon of friendly bridge and tea in support of two charities – Clic Sargent helping children with cancer and Dig Deep projects for clean water in Kenya. Tickets are £15 per player and include a cream tea and prizes. Simple aggregate scoring. All welcome including students and visitors.  Please sign up with a partner or as a table of 4. There is a sign-up sheet in the Clubhouse or you can email Elisabeth on lbingham@talktalk.net Payment will be taken on the day

Teaching - 2018 Winter Beginner Classes

Wimbledon Bridge Club runs a comprehensive teaching programme for both new and experienced players

If you are new to bridge, you may be interested in our new beginners classes running on TUESDAY mornings from 10am till 12 mid-day, starting on January 16th with Ann Walker and  TUESDAY evenings from the 16th January at 7.30-9.30 pm with Hilary Stewart.

Beginners course is 40 weeks, 4 terms of 10 lessons.  £160.00 per term which includes club membership and four Free Play Vouchers

 

Our Classes

Wimbledon Bridge Club runs a comprehensive teaching programme for both new and experienced players. 

'Learn To Play Bridge' is made up of 4 Terms and there are 10 lessons in each Term. Lessons run once a week for 2 hours and combine theory with a practical play session to reinforce what you have learnt. The cost of a term of lessons is £160. 

Our Beginner Classes (Terms 1,2) offer a basic introduction to the game for people who have never played Bridge before. 

Our Next Step Classes (Terms 3,4) are designed for those people who have already completed Beginner Classes or have played Bridge before and want to improve their skills.
