| EBU Master Points |
With effect from Monday 12th April 2010 the club will no longer be issuing EBU Master Points, although Master Points will continue to appear on the Website and results printout.

| Claiming Tricks |
If you claim the remaining tricks without stating your approach, you run the risk of being challenged. This might occur when, perhaps, there are outstanding trumps held by the opponents.
If you are challenged, always call the director immediately rather than making judgements for yourselves. The director will assume the worst line of defensive play, so the danger is that the opponents will have a trick awarded to them that they would not have achieved had you played out the remaining tricks.
So the point is:
If you are in any doubt, play out the hand.
If you claim the remaining tricks, remember to state your approach, such as “drawing trumps, I claim the rest” or “cross-ruffing, I have the remaining tricks” etc. |
