Welcome to the  West Wales Bridge Association web site.

For our Members, we hope that you will find the site useful. We will be trying to let you feel that you are in touch with other Clubs in the Area. We will be able to air issues that affect us from the WBU Council; encourage developing players and  newcomers; and, obviously, badger you to come and play away at Saron and join in the inter-Club Events and National Qualifiers. It's your money that pays for these - so come and enjoy.

If you are visiting West Wales - our beautiful land of coast and castles - then hopefully the site will help you find a bridge venue anywhere from just south of Bridgend up to Newport Pembs.  You will be made very welcome at any of our Area Clubs, - especially if you are over-tired and worn out by sun, sea, cliffs and hill walking.

 The President of the WBU, Adrian Thomas, has called a Special General Meeting of the Welsh Bridge Union at 10.15 am on Sunday 5th September 2010 at the David Lloyd Centre, Ipswich Road, Cardiff CF23 9AQ. The purpose of the meeting is to vote on the proposed changes to the Constitution and management of the WBU agreed by Council, as set out in the  documents listed below. There is no other matter on the Agenda.
