Improver's Course starting September 2016/2017

You have a choice of 2 classes 

Monday Evening Improver's Class

7.00pm - 10.00pm at West Hants Tennis Club. The first class is Monday 5th September 2016

Wednesday Afternoon Improver's Class 

1.45pm - 4.45pm at West Hants Tennis Club.  The first class is Wednesday 7th September 2016.

 This course is aimed at Bridge players who have either completed my Beginner's Bridge Course, or are comfortable with most of the following systems.

12-14 No Trump, Stayman, Transfers, Weak 2 opening in Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Overcalls.  A sound knowledge of scoring.

The course will help you achieve a higher percentage in any Duplicate in which you compete.

The course will include 

How to make a plan before you play to trick 1

Landy, Michaels Cue Bid, Odd/Even discards, 5 card Puppet Stayman, Tips on defence, Opening Leads.

Because of popular demand, this course will contain a large section on "CARDPLAY"

The course is 26 weeks divided into 2 x 13 weeks terms. 

September - October- November 2016

January - February - March 2017

The cost of the course is £10.00 per person per week.

Practise hands are provided each week to illustrate the subject being discussed.

Class notes are given out each week on the subject discussed.

There is no up front payment required

What is required is, if you miss a class, you purchase the missed Class Notes at a cost of £5.00.
