The weekly tournament is scheduled to start at 1300 hours.  Recently there have been players arriving just before the start time and this can cause problems and delays in setting up the tournament.

As a trial, members are asked to arrive no later than 1250.   Members arriving after that time will only be allowed to play at the discretion of the Tournament Director.  This will allow the TD time to set up the tournament and hopefully, play will start promptly. 

The trial will start on February 7 and finish on 13 March.  After that, the Committee will assess the situation and report back to members.

Sheets on which to indicate interest in above competitions will be circulated or be available on the Club Notice Board a few weeks before the event.

New members are welcome at the Western Bridge Club if places are available.  Non-members can play on up to three occasions before having to formally join.  Members are expected to abide by the rules of the Club and to participate in the Standby Rota.
