1.  AGM

The AGM will take place on Monday 28th April, followed by bridge as usual. If you have any items for the agenda please contact Tim Anderson.

Nominations for additional committee members are welcomed, please contact any committee member.

Shiona Dawson as Vice Chair will be taking over as chairman according to our constition. She is proposing David Hazeldine as vice-chairman, subject to the approval of the AGM. Ian Dovey has offered to take over from David Hazeldine as treasurer.

If you have any competition cups please return them to Tim for engraving, in time for presentation at the AGM.

Visitors may attend the AGM but may not vote.

2.  Teams

The issue of how many teams we should enter in the Nottinghamshire leagues was once again raised. The situation will be reviewed in the middle of the year.

3.  Ladies v Gents Competition

The Ladies v Gents was thoroughly enjoyed by all who participated. Thanks to Shiona for organising it.

4.  Club Library

We have acquired series 1 of the Bernard Magee DVD seminars to add to the Andrew Robson DVD that we already have. These are films of Bernard's lectures (lasting around 90 minutes each) and are aimed at Beginner → Intermediate level players. Full details are on the club noticed board or contact Clive Goode.

5. Bank holiday bridge will take place on 21 April, 5 May and 26 May, presuming Bradmore has been booked successfully.

6. This being the last scheduled meeting of the committee before the AGM, the chairman thanked all committee members that had served over the last two years for their contributions, hard work and support, without which the club would not run.

7.  Date of Next Meeting

Provisionally May 12 if we continue with the present pattern of meetings, but subject to confirmation by the new chairman.
