| Butler Pairs and Mixed Pairs |
The New Year got off to a great start with two excellent turn-outs at Devizes Bowls Club.
38 pairs competed in the Butler Pairs on Sunday January 13th, with Vic Holden and Roger Wilmott taking top spot with +59 IMPs.
The Mixed Pairs came just 2 weeks later, on Sunday January 27th. Katharine Hodgson and Roy France came first out of 32 pairs, with 66.4%, nearly 5% ahead of their nearest rivals.
Many congratulations to the winners, and thanks to all who took part - and of course to Christine Starr, who provided the usual splendid tea for both events.
