                BASICS:

  •  Our mentors are acting on a voluntary basis.  It is suggested that mentees cover any entry or playing fees for their mentors if playing in an event or club session.

  •  Mentors and mentees should allow sufficient time at the beginning of the mentoring program to fill out a convention card.  It is recommended that you start with simple agreements and proceed toward more complex systems as the partnership matures.  You should spend a reasonable amount of time discussing problems that come up during play, and analyse some of the hands as a learning tool.

  •  It is suggested that the mentorship be a minimum of 4 weeks duration.
