Prizes

We are still awarding prizes each session but now you have to pick up the tokens from a wallet on the notice board rather than having them delivered.

To see who has won click the 'handicap' tab on the results page.

14th Sep 2016 18:17 BST Mike dennis Hi , I,m looking for a partner tomorrow evening
27th Nov 2015 22:25 GMT David Again I'm looking at the Christmas quizz and wonder what the 'dingbat' questions are all about. I notice that Ethelred was king in 980 and that's the score for 6S not vulnerable.
10th Nov 2015 06:29 GMT Mike dennis Hi , the combination for the cabinet is on the members site message board
3rd Dec 2013 17:19 GMT David 4. The raise of the pre emptive 3H to 4H is ambiguous in that this could equally be bid by a great hand expecting to make or a weak hand trying to make life difficult. If he has the weak hand then surely partner is void in H and yet they took no action over 3H so looks like partner has shapely rubbish and wants to sacrifice.
26th Nov 2013 19:34 GMT David Anyone else looking at the Christmas Quiz in English Bridge? 1. I'm never bidding Hearts in this sequence be lucky to find partner with two Spades must be better. But I'm going for option (C) 3D not that it will score better than 2S but it pre empts 3C by the ops and they surely have a 9 or 10 card fit in Clubs so probably 4C would be a good save but now they may never find it. All welcome to join in argue about this one or post ideas about another.
