Eighteen youth led by Jim Davis from Unit 110 attended the 11th Youth National tournament held in Atlanta in Jul - Aug 2018. A total of 238 young people from all parts of the United States were present. They especially enjoyed being exposed to other nationalities and cultures. Many won trophies.
The other players at the tournament chose Ashley Thomas of Williamsburg to receive the Master Point Press Sportsmanship Award, the third major trophy at the youth tournament. Included in this award was a $1,000 scholarship.
Congratulations to Ashley and the other youth players for all their hard work and to Jim Davis for his outstanding leadership of this group.
