Twyning is a large village approximately 3 miles from both Tewkesbury to the South and Upton-upon-Severn to the north.  In 1987 Pam and the late Eric Turner started what was to develop into the Twyning Bridge Club.  We are now in our sixteenth year as an official club and some of the original members are still heavily involved in running it.  The club meets in the Ann Townend Hall in Churchend, Twyning.  Churchend can be found about half a mile off the A.38, 2 miles north of Tewkesbury.   

Twyning Bridge Club plays duplicate bridge on Tuesday and Thursday starting promptly at 7 p.m.  The Club organises different in house competitions throughout the winter months which members are encouraged to enter.  Once a year we arrange a bridge weekend away usually in October or November for bridge members and non playing partners and these are very well supported.  Visitors and new members are very welcome.  We do not operate a host system, but if you ring one of the officers below we will do our best to find a partner for you.
