It's coming up to that time when we get together at the AGM to review last year and gear up for the year to come. To that end we are looking for members to join the committee. It's an easy process. If you think you know someone who would be fab in this role just ask their permission to put their name forward, find another person who agrees with you and fill in the form below. | Birthday Competition/Peter Willougby Cup - Thanks |
The 2026 Peter Willoughy/Birthday Competition was a great success. Many thanks from across the club to our fabulous, non playing, director, Sue. To Scott who masterminded the scoring and publishing of the results. Also to Kate, as head of catering, who arranged a fabulous birthday cake extravaganza (see pic).
Congratulations to Barry and Carlton for winning the competition and those several pairs who were contenders right up to the last score being entered!
Finally, and most importantly, a massive 'thank you' to all those members who turned out on a cold February evening to join in.

| Congratulations Gill Welch |
 |
Congratulations from across the club to our dear friend Gill Welch. Her specal birthday is on Monday, so we did our best to embarrass her when we played face-2-face the previous Thursday. The picture shows Gill being presented with a gift on behalf of the entire membership from Karen. Enjoy your celebrations Gill.

| Congratulations to Barry and Carlton |
As the director for the evening, Sue, said as she announced the results of the 2026 Birthday competition, it was a very close match with several partnerships contending for the prize until the very last score was entered. In the end Barry and Carlton pipped it by the very smallest of margins. Well done gents.

| Getting Ready for the 2026 AGM |
Responding to requests from the membership to be more environmentally friendly, the Tudor committee will keep the printing to an absolute minimum again for this years meeting. So there will be just a couple of copies of last years minutes, the Agenda and the Treasurer's Report made available at the meeting on 12th March. All materials will be made available on the member's part of the website as soon as they become available.
