Returning to F2F Bridge
Returning to F2F Bridge

1.  Trowbridge County Town Bridge Club is considering returning to face-to-face (F2F) bridge at the rugby club in September but, before we do so, we need to canvass you, our members, to ascertain how you feel about this.

2.  We currently have 166 members, a number of whom joined us within the last year solely to play online bridge.  We recognise that a large percentage of our new members will not be interested in F2F bridge at Trowbridge Rugby Club.  With that in mind, we will probably retain one session of online bridge per week, in addition to the two evenings at the rugby club.

3.  To help us with our deliberations, can I please invite you to respond to the questionnaire below so the committee can decide on the best way forward for the majority of club members.  If you have any comments to make or alternative suggestions, please  add them below or email secretary@trowbridgeclub.org.

4. When we return to play at the rugby club, we will ensure that there is decent ventilation and there will be sanitisers around the room.  We will also undertake a temperature check upon arrival but request that anyone who have even the faintest sign of COVID symptoms stays away from the clubhouse.  As far as wearing masks or visors when at the rugby club, that is a personal decision.

Regards,

Gerry McAinsh

Club Chairman
