Table Money

Club members pay £2.50 per night, which includes refreshments. Non-members will be charged £3.50 Membership currently costs £7.50

Bidding

Players should not touch their bidding box until they have decided their call. The Alert card should be used as applicable. Hesitating unduly during bidding or play should be avoided, particularly if there is no reason to do so.

Play

The player on lead should place the first card face down before recording the contract. Avoid discussing a board before all boards in the round have been played. If dummy has not been faced when the round is called the board must not be played. Averages will be given.


Etiquette

Members and their guests are asked to avoid the following:

Arriving less than 15 minutes before the start time of 7.15
Badgering, rudeness, and speaking unreasonably loudly
Criticism of other players' bidding or play
Continuing to discuss hands after players have been called to move
Objecting to director being called/disputing a director's ruling
