Friday Evening Bridge Sessions are being held on an occasional basis so please check before attending.

Lessons for current club players will be held on the last Monday of each month from 9:30 till 11:30. The next session will be a variarion and is scheduled for Monday December 11 and it will be on Extended Stayman. A large part of the lesson will be devoted to the planning required to play a trump contract

Supported Play sessions are on every Monday morning from 9:30 till 11:30. In these sessions players may ask for assistance either during the auction or during the play. If you know of any players who would like to join us for these more relaxed and non-competitive sessions please let them know.

Our 3 Charity Days in 2017 are Bridge for Brains on Wednesday May 3, Tomago House on Saturday May 20 (since cancelled) and our local charity on Monday June 19. Our local charity this year was the Women's Crisis and Support Group.

Kay Davis' 100th birthday celebrations were enjoyed by all. What an amazing lady. Her views on the needs of our club were delivered very eloquently. Thanks to Millie for a super cake and to Sandra for all her work in the kitchen preparing food and cleaning up. Thanks to Greg Farrell for his smooth French wine. A big thank you to all club members who brought along some delicious food for afternoon refreshments.

Our Xmas party is on Friday December 8. A flyer has been sent to all club members detailing costs and other organisational matters.

Our club teams championship has concluded and the winning team comprised Robyn Kennett, Ellen Krieger, Diane McLean, Penny Parker and Rae Uptin. Coming in 2nd were Tom Flynn, Shiela Malloch & Ann and Ian Spight. Congratulations to these teams. Thanks to all the teams who entered for this event.

Our next scheduled bridge lesson has been changed to Monday December 11 from 9:30am till 11:30am and it is on Extended Stayman. A large proportion of this lesson will focus on the planning needed to play a trump contract. All established club players are invited to attend.

There will be no supervised play on Monday November 27 due to the AGM at 11:00am. The final supervised play session for 2017 will be on Monday December 11.

Our last pizza night was again successful with 4 tables and good cheer. The next pizza night will be on Friday 24 Nov.  Come along for bridge, good food and fun. BYO drinks.
