DECLARER PLAY
HINTS
- When counting trumps, count how many opponents have and count down how many they play.
Easier than trying to count up to 13.
- Rule of 1 - if there is only one trump left and it is a winner, don't bother to draw another round.
- Normally win the trick with the lowest possible card - leaving high cards means it is easier to
remember if it is a winner.
- If playing No Trumps, try not to put a suit that has been bid on the right of dummy - easy to think
you are playing with that suit in trumps.

Normally draw trumps so winners are not ruffed
Do not draw trumps if:
- You need to ruff losers in dummy
- You need to set up a suit
- To discard losers from hand on winners in dummy
