This popular bridge club was founded in 1980 by four friends who played bridge socially and then decided to form a formal club. The club now has a membership of over one hundred enthusiastic players who enjoy the challenge and reward of the game. Our dealing machine is now fully operational and provides interesting card distributions and hand records that accompany web-posted results.

RIP - DAVID GILBERT
We are sad to report that Dave Gilbert died on 19th January in hospital following complications from pneumonia. He was always an excellent and very enthusiastic bridge player, and a member of our Club for many years.
Our sincere condolences and love to Flick and also David's family. He will be missed by so many of us.
The funeral service will take place at Woodvale Crematorium (South Chapel), Lewes Road, Brighton BN2 3QB on Monday 23rd February at 11.30 am. This will be followed by refreshments at David's favourite pub The Cleveland Arms, 27A Cleveland Road, Brighton BN1 6FF
Please note - If you park near the pub, you will need to download the PaybyPhone App. Road parking around Blakers Park is available with this App, whereas some parking on residential roads may be for residents only. Please check signs as parking wardens check regularly!

NATIONAL INTER-CLUB KNOCKOUT PLATE
In a recent match against Reading Bridge Club, we were represented by Cecily Linfield, Jeremy Harris, David and Andrea Galpin
Unfortunately our win in 2025 was not to be repeated - this time Reading won by 12 IMPs. Very close indeed!
