Teams at Tenterden

The club will hold three teams evenings in 2024 – 29^th May, 31^st July and 30^th October.  We will review the latter two dates dependent on the success of the May event.  NB If you have not put yourself down for the Teams event you will be unable to play bridge on the 29th May.

To maximise the chance of truly open competition, we propose to make pairs up into teams using a “lucky draw”. To do this we do need pairs to sign up in advance. A form is on the club notice board for this purpose. Please sign this by 22^nd May.  We will need a even number of teams for the event so we will review the numbers before the event and give an update.  If you are unable to access the list on the notice board please let a member of the committee know so they can do this on your behalf.

The teams will be announced on 29^th May: please arrive by 6:45 at the latest so that we can organise both the teams and the evening’s movement.

The same teams will compete on the three evenings but substitutions will be allowed to cater for holidays and unavoidable absences.

The best performing team will be presented with a trophy at the club’s 2025 AGM.

Scoring will be by EBU Teams using IPMS.
