We are still progressing well.  The travellers almost completely matched the Bridgemate scores and the only errors were only on the travellers.  As a reminder:

1.  Please make sure you arrive promptly by 1.00pm at the latest otherwise we will need to reset the Bridgemate session to adjust for a new number of pairs and/or tables.  This is fairly complex and will cause delays to starting.

2.  Make absolutely certain that you are playing boards in the correct order.  If you have to play them out of the normal order (e.g. if you are sharing boards) then you will need to delete the board number which Bridgemate displays automatically and replace it with the correct number.

3. If there are any problems at all in using the Bridgemate devices call out "Bridgemate" (lustily) - please do not try to solve yourselves at this time.  This helps us to understand what are the common problems which people may experience

Because pair EW 9 moved to the wrong table in round 2 this disadvantaged NS 10 in that round and NS 11 in the following round.  So I have penalised EW 9 with 25% scores in both rounds and awarded NS 10 and NS 11 with 60% scores in their respective rounds

Board 2 today (15th July) was wrongly scored by 2 tables and it was not possible to decide what the correct scores were.  So an average of 40% has been applied on this board to North/South paire 4 & 5 and East/West pairs 2 & 7.

For anyone who compares this weeks results on the website with the results you have recorded on your own scoresheets you will see that the two sets don't match up directly.  This is because the boards played didn't match up with the table numbers.  The only way I could find of compensating for this was to renumber the boards to what they would normally have been on the normal starting tables.  So to compare results for a board you must add '15' to the board on your personal scoresheet (e.g. board 3 on your scoresheet will be board 18 on the website).  If the board number after adding 15 is greater than 27 then you must also subtract 27 to get the corresponding board number on the website (e.g. board 16 on your scoresheet will be become 31 & then board 4 on the website).  Clear as mud!
