Hellesdon & Taverham Bridge Club |
Welcome to the web site of Hellesdon & Taverham Bridge Club. We are primarily an online club and play club pairs duplicate bridge on Monday evenings on Realbridge. We start at 7.00 and request that pairs are at their tables just after 6.45. We welcome guests and new members at any time, but ask that guests play with a member if the evening is a "Sim Pairs". There are six of these events throughout the year.
We also play Face to Face 2 to 3 times per year at a selected venue, these start at 10:00 am.
We strive to provide a friendly atmosphere and to cater for novices as well as more experienced players.

Probabilities - do you know them? |
Here, for anyone interested, is an article about probabilities of card distribution.
When you are missing 4 trumps, how likely is it that they will be split 2 - 2?
When did you last get dealt a hand with 13 cards in one suit? How long might you have to wait until it happens again?
