 Mike Morriss and Nick Woosnam have won the Victor Ludorum top prize at Graham Jepson's Beverley weekend in September.
As Graham is retiring shortly this picture of the market place in Beverley is theirs to keep and has been donated to SCBC in perpetuity. |

| PlayBridgeDealer4 Selected |

Following Terry Collier's demonstration of the PlayBridgeDealer4 hand dealing machine on Thursday 25th September and other rigorous selection criteria, a purchase has been agreed.
The TD team will be working on procedures for a phased introduction into club nights and to allow for post session hand records to be available.
The machine is expected to be in operation from November.

| Book Table Sales Reach £1000 |
The Book Table has now generated sales of £1000.
Your Committee have decided to put these funds towards the project of providing a PlayBridgeDealer4 dealing machine and associated boards, cards and software. |

| Experimental Table Numbering Feedback Form Analysis |
 Concerns had been expressed to the Committee that players were overhearing comments made at adjacent tables for boards that were about to be played.
The German system of numbering tables was therefore trialled on an experimental basis on Wednesday 27th August and Friday 12th September.

On Friday afternoons 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. there is now an Improvers Group duplicate session where c16 boards are played and there is the opportunity for some tuition most weeks.
