An immediate 4NT after an opening 1NT or 2NT is NOT asking for Aces. It is a quantative bid saying bid 6 if you are maximum for your opening but pass otherwise. Responder has 19 - 20 HCP oppsite 1 NT or 11 -12 after a 2 NT opening
On the night several pairs tried 6 which invariably went down with 660 being the optimum score
