We teach the English Bridge Union recommended course and all the teachers are EBU qualified.
We aim to make the lessons enjoyable and informative.
1. Beginners/1st year course – 3 x 10-week terms
Start date: Tuesday 4th October 2016
This course is designed to introduce the game of bridge to people who have never played it before. It is equally suitable for those who have never played any card game before and those who used to play bridge some years ago and need a refresher course.
By the end of the 3rd term students will have been taught all the basics and will be able to play social bridge, go on bridge holidays and weekends or move through to supervised play sessions at the club in readiness for playing in duplicate bridge sessions in the Club – starting with the easy sessions specially provided for beginners and novices.
Cost: Fees £75 per term + £25 for the coursebook.

1. Intermediate/2nd year course – 2 x 10-week terms
Start date: Monday 3rd October 2016, early evening
This course is designed as a follow on to the first year course, or for people who need a refresher course.
By the end of the 2nd term students will be able to play duplicate bridge in the Bridge Club – starting with the easy sessions specially provided for beginners and novices.
Cost: Fees £75 per term + £25 for the coursebook.

SUPERVISED BIDDING AND PLAY
These are very friendly and relaxed sessions where the players play a number of hands and can ask for advice on bidding and play from qualified bridge teachers. No partner required. Just turn up 20 mins before the start, any Monday morning or Wednesday afternoon.
Mondays – 10 to 12 noon. Usually in the form of a duplicate session.
Wednesdays 2pm to 4pm. Hands from sessions are normally played and reviewed played at your own speed.
Both sessions are for both bidding and practice plays.
Cost: £4.50 per session includes a break with tea/coffee & biscuits
