The aim of the Bridge Affairs Sub-Committee (BASC) is to help members and visitors to enjoy their bridge as much as possible.

Our remit is anything to do with how and when we play bridge at the Club. In particular we aim to help players understand and observe The Laws of Duplicate Bridge, the Handbook of EBU Directives and Permitted Agreements (the Blue Book) and the EBU Tournament Directors' Guide (the White Book).

If we consider the topic to be of general interest, we will publicise our conclusions, without naming names, on the Recent Topics page on this website and on the club notice board.
