Minutes of the Committee Meeting of 10^th September 2025 were approved online

Chairman’s Report

• Our social bridge event of September 27^th was very successful and enjoyed by all.   Thanks to MH and FH for organizing the food.
• There is a possibility that a coat of varnish could be applied to the refurbished side tables in order to prevent marking.
• Our Christmas party will take place on December 12^th
  • Requests for prizes for the raffle in aid of Mary Stevens Hospice to be announced by directors
  • Poster – FH
  • Food and drink LW and GL
  • Raffle MH and GJ
  • Wine for prizes

Secretary’s Report

• EBU – All updates from Aylesbury are on the EBU website
• WCBA – Newsletter printed

Treasurer’s Report

• Financial Report - up to date

Media Co-ordinator’s Report

• The website is up to date
• Emails to be sent re Christmas party and raffle prizes

Rota Co-Ordinator’s Report

• Rotas are up to date
• Emergency boards – LW and SW will duplimate 7 boxes including 1 emergency box

Competitions Secretary’s Report

• The attempt to update the honours board is on going

Resources Co-ordinator’s Report

• We have a colour cartridge for the printer - GT

Any Other Business

• The Function room after a bridge session
  • It was agreed at a meeting with LW, Jerry, Debby and Nick that on Tuesdays and Fridays only side tables would be moved. Only on Mondays would tables and chairs be moved in addition to side tables
  • The Chair circulated some email correspondence between a member of the bridge section and the Institute regarding bridge teaching
