EBU Membership Fee

This will be due soon and the Club decided at its AGM in September to dis-affiliate from the EBU for the coming year. This means if you take no action, you will be ineligible for any new EBU competitions.
Paper Master Points will cease to be issued after April 1st; if you have any you wish to be registered, send them to Aylesbury ASAP.
If you are not a member of the EBU and do not intend to be one, you need do nothing.
If you wish to become or continue membership you can either join one of the local affiliated clubs or register individually with the EBU and complete the Direct Debit mandate on page 27 of the February issue of English Bridge magazine.
In either case, your membership of Stone Bridge Club is unaffected.

Welcome to Stone Bridge Club

We offer the following attractions:

Stone Bridge Club is an active friendly club with membership of around 140 (membership currently strictly limited).
Duplicate bridge on Monday and Wednesday evenings (in your seats by 7.15 please, play commences by 7.30).
We regularly attract between 12 and 15 tables and seldom less than 9.
One large room with kitchen off is on the first floor accessible by stairs and chairlift. A smaller room, generally used for competitions, is on the second floor accessible by stairs only. Gents' toilets are on the ground floor with ladies' room and disabled toilet on the first floor.
Good car parking facilities.
Cost per night : £2.50 each (money refunded if you win).
Small membership charge of £10 per annum.
Tea, coffee or squash and biscuits provided free of charge during a short interval. We support
Up to date large size tables with bidding boxes.
Real time scoring using kindly funded by a donation from
Computerised board and competition results available on this site within 24 hours.
Several trophies to play for throughout the winter and separately for the summer.
Men's, ladies' and mixed pairs competitions.
Competitions arranged with other local clubs.
We send teams to the Staffs & Shrops League. We have one team in Division 2 and one team in Division 3. We have had two teams entered in the NICKO.
Participation in simultaneous pairs competitions at County and National levels.
Information available within the club about other bridge competitions, bridge holidays and foreign tournaments.
Christmas party - fun supper with progressive bridge - lots of prizes.
Annual dinner is held mid to late April at attractive venues.
Individual or group tuition available by arrangement (See Bridge Classes Page for further details).
