The British Summer Sims Pairs take place in the last week of July. Stansfield will be hosting a heat on Tuesday 24 July (6.45 for 7pm). and guests are most welcome.
Because there are different sets of boards for each day of the week you can, for example, play at Abbeygate or Clare on the Monday and Stansfield on the Tuesday.

As part of their 60th anniversary celebrations, Ipswich & Kesgrave bridge club are staging a special version of their annual blue-pointed Swiss Pairs on Sunday 2 September - with increased prize money, a full buffet lunch and a non-master's prize.

The Mixed Pairs takes place at Lavenham village hall on Wednesday 13 June (7pm).
Clare bridge club hosts the Senior Pairs (Seniors 60+, Veterans 70+) on Wednesday 11 July (7pm).
The Ladies' and Mens' Pairs is at Lavenham village hall on Wednesday 12 September (7pm).

The Felixstowe Congress is the county's flagship event.
Stansfield's annual bridge-golf day will take place on Wednesday 26 September at Newton Green.
The format will be the same as usual: 18 holes of golf (either foursomes of greensomes) followed by a fish & chip lunch and then 18 boards of bridge. The unique scoring system developed a few years ago, should provide an overall winner.
Following the success of the inaugural Stansfield Handicap Pairs last year, the club's committee has decided to repeat the event in 2018 and 2019.
The competition is open to players from other clubs and aims to give everyone an equal chance of success by allocating a handicap to each player, based on their NGS record with the EBU.
The Handicap pairs will take place on Sunday 21 October 2018 and Sunday 27 October 2019 - 11am start.
