Following the success 12 months ago of having a party in the New Year rather than in the run up to Christmas, the club will follow suit this festive season.
The New Year's Party will be on 10 January, starting at 6pm, and is open to all members.
* There will be no bridge at the club on Tuesday 25 December (!), Thursday 27 December or Tuesday 1 January.
Learn & Play meets on Wednesday 12 December and then has a break until 9 January.
Suffolk is running a number of competitions over the coming months, including two which should appeal to club members.
The Mid Anglia Pairs at Woodbridge on Sunday 20 January is a two session event, starting at 11am and finishing at about 6pm. On Sunday 24 February (2pm), the Jyl Marsh Individual takes place at the very social Framlingham bridge club. Between 24 and 32 boards are played with different partners, using a simple bidding system. For more details, click on INDIVIDUAL. To enter on-line click on FRAMLINGHAM.

Following the success of the inaugural Stansfield Handicap Pairs last year, the club's committee has decided to repeat the event in 2018 and 2019.
The competition is open to players from other clubs and aims to give everyone an equal chance of success by allocating a handicap to each player, based on their NGS record with the EBU.
The Handicap pairs will take place on Sunday 21 October 2018 and Sunday 27 October 2019 - 11am start.
