The purpose of the St Andrews New Bridge Club is to encurage, improve and enlarge the opportunity to play Bridge in a social atmosphere in St Andrews.

1  Play shall commence promptly at 1845.

2  Members must be in place ready to play no later than 1840 to enable the Tournament Director to organise Boards/Movement for the evening.

3  A minimum of 24 Boards, whenever feasible, will be played at each meeting.

4  All decisions made by the Tournament Director shall be final.  Any disputes must be raised with the Tournament Director prior to close of play.

5  The speed of play in the Bridge Room will be controlled by the Tournament Director.  Any pair delaying play will be penalised at the Tournament Director's discretion.

6  The duration of the tea/coffee break shall be 15 minutes, to include the announcement by the Tournament Director of the previous week's results.

7  At the Bridge table, dignity and respect for fellow members must be displayed at all times.  If any infringement occurs, members should be free to call the Tournament Director.

8  Private use of the Club's equipment by any member/individual is not permitted.
