Sunday Swiss Pairs start at 2.30 p.m. and finish at about 8.00 p.m.
2008 Dates: Sundays September 14th, October 19th, December 14th
Tuesday December 30th (11.00 a.m.)
2009: Sundays January 25th, February 22nd, March 15th, April 26th, May 24th, June 28th, July 26th.
Note the extra Swiss Pairs on Tuesday December 30th from 11.00 to about 5.00p.m. to help fill the bridgeless gap between Christmas and the New Year.
Six 6-board matches with a short break for refreshments after 3 matches.
Bridgemate scoring with current round assignments and almost no delay between rounds
Current positions and assignmments shown on screen at the end of each round. £100 prize for the winning pair plus smaller cash prizes for the second and third pairs and bottles of wine for the leading non-expert pair (below 20,000 local points) and the best second half ascender.
The Entry Fee is £24.00 per pair
which includes tea, coffee, squash and light refreshments.
