You will all be aware that on Wednesdays the hall is full to capacity on a regular basis. For this reason membership applications are closed for 2013-2014.Non-members are still welcome to play at Slams when there is space available, but you will appreciate that members must take priority.To help with the management of this there will be a cut off point of 5 minutes before the scheduled start:
- Members arriving before the cut-off time should expect to play - even if I have to ask non-members to leave.
- Members arriving later may be unlucky.
It will only be necessary for one of the pair to be seated before the cut off time.
I don't envisage any problem on Friday evenings at present. Anyone who turns up should get a game.
May I also take this opportunity to ask those players who come without a partner to arrive in good time. It makes organisation very difficult if you arrive at the last minute.Roy1st May 2013
