| NE Regional John Lane Cup |
SABC were delighted to welcome 17.5 tables to the clubhouse on Sunday, 4th of February for the NE Regional John Lane Cup pairs competition. A pleasant and competitive game was enjoyed by all and expertly directed by Peter Byrne. The cup was presented by Aileen Lane, daughter-in-law of the renowned Skerries bridge player, John Lane, whom the cup honours. The cup was first played in Skerries in 1977.
This year's worthy winners were Noreen Pender and Frank Davey.
