Our membership year starts in September and we have about 200 members on our books - one or two in their nineties, one ot two of them in their twenties, and the rest somewhere in between.
The standard is high but very friendly - we appreciate that most players come out to enjoy themselves.
We have a handful of established pairs - but many people play with different partners. Players are made to feel comfortable whichever process they choose to adopt.
The Club uses Bridgemates which are modern electronic scoring devices, which are quite easy for the players to use, and normally ensure that the result is available within a few minutes of a session finishing.
Visitors are very welcome, preferably with advance notice. Ideally turn up as a pair (see Calendar for event and venue) and introduce yourself to the tournament director. If you need a partner then contact the secretary and he will try to help.
