This is a friendly Club which meets to play good bridge in Shalford Village Hall every Tuesday evening.  We are not affiliated to the EBU and therefore do not award Master Points.  We play Duplicate Pairs except on the first Tuesday of the month when there is a Team event or an occasional Individual or Cut-in Pairs event.  There is a sociable break for refreshments during the evening.

Prospective members are asked to "play in" as visitors on three occasions before being admitted to the Club.  The cost for visitors is £2.00 per evening.  The full membership fee is £40 per year with no weekly table money.  We regret that we do not normally accept visitors unless they come as the guest of an existing member.  If you are interested in becoming a member please ask an existing member or contact our Membership Secretary (01483 566851 / ccdechazal@yahoo.co.uk) who will tell you more about the Club and try to find you a partner, should this be necessary.

Results are posted on the Club's website.  The hands are usually computer-generated which enables members to see the hands with the results and gauge how skilful they have been in their bidding and playing.  Two social events are arranged during the year - a bridge weekend at a south coast hotel and a Christmas party.  Do come and see if you like us - you will be made most welcome.
