Selsdon is a friendly club based at the Methodist Church in Sanderstead. We welcome guests so please feel free to come along - Your first visit is free!
If you would like to come but haven't a partner then you can simply turn up and be guaranteed a partner via the steward system, except on competition nights, please see our calendar for details.
We play Duplicate Bridge every Thursday evening, arriving at 7:20 for a 7:30 start in Sanderstead Methodist Church, Limpsfield Rd, CR2 9EF.
The Club uses the BridgeMates real time scoring system so that the current position is constantly updated onto a computer screen.
We always use duplimated boards with a copy of the hands available at the end of the session. For the technically minded, we play to EBU Blue Book Level 5. EBU Master Points are awarded for all events.
We have a range of expertise amongst our players and we encourage a friendly and respectful approach at the table for the enjoyment of all.
You can contact us by clicking here or contact one of our committee members - for details see here.
The Surrey Affiliated Clubs Teams of 8 takes place on Sunday 13 January 2019. Selsdon will, as usual, enter a team. Teams of three is a form of bridge unique to Selsdon Bridge Club. Each player spends one third of the evening playing with each team mate. The remaining third is spent playing in an individual section where in each round the partners "borrow" each other to complete a team of four. Over the years it has become very popular and has become an established annual event. The tournament is open to non-members.

Finishing time will be about 10:30pm. Entry fee for visitors is £5 (members £4). In order to plan the event successfully bookings are essential. Please click here to go to the booking form.
Please note that EBU Master Points are not awarded for this type of competition and your NGS record will not be affected - This is a FUN evening!
