Designed for people with no bridge experience, although some students may have a smattering of knowledge.  Following the “Bridge for All” syllabus from the English Bridge Union, we move forward in simple steps and have fun along the way.  It soon becomes a place to meet up with friends and arrange a game.

A two terms course following on from our Beginning Bridge course. Suitable for people who want to extend their basic bridge knowledge and know how to cope with stronger, more complex hands, compete with weaker hands and generally improve their declarer and defender pay.

Upon completion students will have sufficient sklls to enjoy our regular supervised bridge play sessions.

Refresh your Bidding! (Yr2+/3)

This short 10 week course is ideal for those who have completed year 1 and 2 courses and want to refresh their bidding knowledge before learning new skills.  It will also suit the social bridge player intent on 'modernising' their bidding style.

Extend your Bridge Skills (Yr3)

 This 10 week short course is ideal for those players who have completed their Beginning Bridge and Improver Bridge courses and are now ready to add extra skills and knowlegde.  It is not an advanced course but it will build on your basic knowledge and make you a more competitive bridge player.

Duplicate Pairs Tactics

This is a new 10 week course ideal for the more experienced player who wants to appreciate some key tactics for better scoring at Duplicate bridge. It is a follow on from the highly successful 'Battleground Secrets' seminar.

Basic Practical Card Play Rob Wilkinson This short 10 week course is ideal for those who have completed year 1 and 2 courses and want to improve their basic declarer or defender card playing skills before learning new bidding skills.  It will also suit any 'social' bridge player who struggles with their card play.
