2016 Summer School again a great success!

The thirty second year of the summer school took place at the end of July and it was again a success with seminars on a wide range of topics, five of which were dedicated to bridge.   Thank you to all of you who attended the seminars.  All of the profits from summer school were donated to the Memorial Centre Charity that helps towards maintaining such a wonderful old building that benefits the local community.

Abbey Smith and Tim Chanter, our new guest tutors were very warmly received and we are pleased to confirm that both will be returning next year with new and exciting seminars.  Rob and Tony were again the usual stalwarts and will continue to run a seminar each next year.  Unfortunately for Rob, his 'Battleground Secrets' are no longer secret as some of his seminar attendees have been employing them to good effect and even against him recently at local bridge clubs!

Finally, we also expect to introduce another new bridge tutor to summer school next year.
