In order to start bridge on time players should be seated at the table 10 minutes before the advertised starting time.
This is Important in order for the directors to organise a movement and disribute the cards and bridge mates.
Rye Beach Bridge Club was formed in 2005 by Margaret and Brian Morgan with the aim of increasing the participation of Bridge players on the Southern end of the Mornington Peninsula.
Players of all standards are welcome, preferably with a sense of humour. It is important that players treat both their opponents and their partner with respect.
Duplicate sessions are held at Portsea ( Watson Pavilion) at 9.30 on Monday mornings and at Rosebud Memorial Hall on Thursday afternoons at 1.00. In addition, a fun supervised session is held at Rosebud Memorial Hall on Thursday mornings at 9.30
Importantly, with the odd exception, a partner is not required.
The Frank McConvill Trophy will be held at St Mark's Church Hall, Cnr Barkly Street and Waterloo Street, Mornington on Saturday April 27
Fees $30 p.p - light refreshments included.( It is recommended that you BYO lunch).

This is a Swiss Pairs event, with an Open competition and a Restricted competition for those with 100 MPs or less per player.
Equal prize money in each section.
The event is only open to home club and associate members of the Mornington Peninsula Bridge Association member Clubs i.e Peninsula Bridge Club,
Mornington Bridge Group, Dromana Bridge Centre and Rye Beach Brisge Club.
