We are pleased to advise that we are linking up with Peninsula Home Hospice to provide a major charity and bridge event on Friday morning, August 28.
We will have a 3 hour bridge session, followed by a 2 course luncheon. The venue is the Rosebud Country Club, starting at 10.00. Subject to sufficient entries, we intend running 3 sections depending on experience.
Section 1 is open to all, section 2 limited to players with less than 25 master points, and the 3rd section will be run as a supervised session for inexperienced and unregistered players who will be able to ask questions about the bidding and play of the hand. Masterpoints will be awarded in Sections 1 and 2.
There will be lots of raffle prizes, and, hopefully, plenty of laughter.
Entry fee is $50 per person for lunch and bridge - 100% of proceeds will go to PHH.
PHH is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation that provides home-based palliative care for the terminally ill - many of us will have experience of the fantastic help they provide.
