There were 11 tables on Monday Afternoon last week, Zena Hutchison and Val Richards led the North-South pairs with 59%, and there was a similar score for victors Chris Longthorn and Graham Shaw in the East-West section. Seven tables on Monday Evening saw Geoff Bennett and Max Kynoch triumph with 63%.

Another 11 tables on Tuesday afternoon resulted in Terry Leary and Graham Logan leading the North-South section with 58%, Brian Mawby and David Reed scored nearly 63% to lead the East-West Pairs.

5 tables on Wednesday morning practised balanced hand responses to a One no-trump opening bid.

Our very first Thursday Afternoon duplicate pairs session attracted 9 tables, with Brian and David again victors, this time with 59% as North-South. Ivan and Margaret Beniston led East-West with 63%.

We gave away quite a few before Christmas, but there are still quite a few left. Do get one.

It's a good magazine, particularly for our level of player. You can look at it for free online. Personally, I think it's worth paying for!
