Minutes of Committee Meeting held on 11th August 2014
at 66 Cromwell Road, Rugby

Minutes from last meeting:
The minutes were approved by the committee
Matters arising from last meeting:
None
Treasurers report:
Sid confirmed the balance as £402.75.
And received £10 from Daventry Do-Nuts for their registration for 2014-15 season
Correspondence:
None
League Status:
Jane confirmed five teams had registered so far and that she had sent out all the forms to the team captains.
Fixtures Meeting:
Fixtures meeting date has been confirmed for Monday 15th September 2014 at Clifton Memorial Hall 7:00pm.
End of season event:
Brief discussion that the date should be carefully agreed for next year so as to avoid clashing with other local events. Some discussion about the format the event should take, but this will be discussed in full at the next committee meeting.
New Handicap System:
Roger Ward confirmed he was completely in favour of the new handicap system which he believes will be fairer.
Terry re-iterated the fact that the committee had already turned the suggestion down, but that the committee had been over-ruled.
Roger requested that the committee write to John Bolton requesting his help in providing a new spreadsheet as the number of teams and divisions had been altered.
Liz to email John Bolton on behalf of the committee requesting his help in this matter.
Roger agreed to liaise the new handicap system.
AOB:
Jane to ring Chris McCarthy, captain of JCBC, to arrange the return of their league equipment.
Discussion was held about filling the roles of Chairman, Fixtures Secretary, Secretary and Webmaster for the 2015/16 season and everyone to try to think/approach possible replacements.
