| Rankings |
There are two methods by which the EBU ranks its members.
1. By Master points, which are cumulative, and represent a lifetime achievement record. They can be gained on every club evening, including ECATS charity events, and also at external competitions, both regional and national, run by the EBU. Your Master Point rank can be seen by logging into the club's Member Area on this web site. For an explanation of Master, Green, Blue and Local points see under Information / EBU Master Points.
2. By the National Grading Scheme (NGS), which is in effect a measure of current form, so your ranking can both increase and decrease. EBU grades are divided into 13 playing card bands, ranging from ‘Ace’ at the top to ‘Two’ at the beginners’ end. Each band covers a 2% range of grade values, with ‘Eight’ having a range of 49 ‐ 51%. Again, Your NGS rating can be seen by logging into the club's Member Area on this web site. You can view your personal grade (and a lot more besides) by logging into the EBU members area ("My EBU"), then click on the NGS link. You can also enquire on all EBU members' grades, which can be filtered by name or county by following the link to NGS on the EBU website, or clicking this page.
