Championship Pairs Trophy

The championship will be decided on the 20 best results for the year , with a minimum of 15 events played from 1st Thursday in September to last Thursday in August.

A pair may use a club member as a stand-in once in rounds 1 & 3.

The dates for the Semi - Final and the Final may be changed with the agreement of the participants. The Semi- Final should be settled by the end of April, and the Final is to take place before the end of August.

 individual Handicap Competition

The competition will be on a handicap basis , and will be run over the same period as the Chamionship Pairs Competition , and will be decided on the best 25 scores , with a minimum of 25 events played.

The winner will be the most improved player over the year.

Explanation of how your handicap is calculated.

The handicap applied is based on your actual % scores  for the previous 12 months, taken away from 50%

Examples : For a member with a 12 month average of 52.51%, the handicap would be -2.51 and for a member with 46.25% the handicap would be +3.75

Handicaps are recalculated at the beginning of each month . For members who have not played in the previous 12 months , and for visitors , their handicap will be -5.00.

 The handicap score is the sum of the actual % score and the handicap.
