I hope you have all had a good summer and are enjoying what is left of it.
 

The last of our summer Thursday evening casual duplicates is on Thursday next week 8 September.   Usual format - start at 6.30pm, supper around 8pm and finish by 10.30pm.   Table money is £3 for members and £5 for visitors who are very welcome.   Please all sign up on the list in the Card Room or ask ask Gillian at Reception to do so for you.   I shall be directing.

The Wednesday afternoon duplicates start on Wednesday 28 September at 1.30pm and the next bridge drive is on the following Wednesday 5 October.   Thursday evening winter duplicate starts on Thursday 20 October - slightly later than usual.

Finally if you want to sign up for the Freeman Madgett trophy for rubber bridge and haven't done it yet you have only two days left to do so.   The list closes tomorrow 31 August,
